Christian schooling is thriving all around the world—in both open and closed political environments and despite persecution or growing secularization and marginalization of religion. These variations on the environment in which Christian schools operate globally provide a valuable continuum in which to view their operation, challenges, successes and, sometimes, failures. Thinking about Christian education along this additional continuum beyond a more tradition stage (developing, mature, stable or perhaps decline) view gives us a new ability to learn from our colleagues around the world. By gathering key leaders from around the world to share their experiences, we will hear about innovation, adaptation and culturally distinct outcomes that will challenge and encourage.
